RiBran® 300 Rice Bran - Rice has been a bodybuilding staple for generations. It’s nutritionally complete. It’s also typically brown rice because that version’s low glycemic.
What is low glycemic? That refers to the Glycemic Index. The Index is a numerical value assigned to carbohydrate foods. It’s based on how fast or slow these foods increase levels of blood glucose. Glucose has a baseline value of 100. The longer it takes a carbohydrate food to digest, the lower the number. A low number means the carb food digests slowly and does not cause a rise in blood sugar.
Real Carbs® Rice Legendary Series uses RiBran 300. This ingredient is derived from the outer bran layers and the germ of brown rice. This is the most nutritious part of the rice.
TapiOK® Tapioca Maltodextrin - TapiOK® is a form of maltodextrin. It’s 100% pure tapioca starch. This ingredient is certified kosher, non-GMO, and hypoallergenic. It’s a version of maltodextrin that’s different from typical maltodextrin. That’s because TapiOK is not heavily processed. Also, it contains a “natural” form of maltodextrin.
