Features of NutraBio Chelated Zinc (30mg)

NutraBio uses Albion Minerals Zinc Bisglycinate Chelate an advanced, more bioavailable, and patented form of the essential mineral zinc. While most zinc supplements aren’t easily absorbed and cause gastric upset, Albion zinc is chelated to produce small, organic molecules that pass easily through the digestive tract and are gentler on the digestive system. Zinc is a trace mineral essential for proper growth, development, and reproduction, as well as numerous body processes, from eye health to immune function to regulation of appetite, taste, and smell. Zinc is required for the proper function of approximately 300 enzymes and is necessary for the formation of superoxide dismutase (SOD), which is an important free radical scavenger in the body. It’s also an antioxidant, meaning it helps protect healthy cells from the potentially damaging effects of free radicals.
